About

A small Adelaide practice devoted to reading overnight gaps and the opening auction — without the noise of tip sheets.

Why we teach this slice of the chart

Overnight gaps and session opens decide more of a trader’s week than most midday noise. Autonomous Sys formed around that observation: after years of marking ASX opens from a quiet room in Kilburn North, we began inviting a handful of traders to sit through the same drills we used ourselves.

We are not a brokerage, a research house, or a signal desk. We teach technical analysis training with a narrow brief — gap analysis and session opens — so each cohort can leave with rules they can test on Monday morning.

Approach

Sessions stay small. Charts are printed or shared as static images so conversation stays on structure, not on scrolling feeds. Instructors annotate in pencil first, then ink. Disagreement is welcome when it is backed by a marked level on the page.

Australian market hours shape the calendar. We schedule around RBA announcements and major reporting weeks when the open behaves differently, and we say so in the room instead of pretending every Monday looks alike.

People

Teaching is led by practitioners who keep their own gap journals and still sit the open several mornings a week. Credentials that matter here are patient chart history and clear feedback — not celebrity forecasts.

Values we hold to

  • Specificity over slogans: name the gap type before you name the trade.
  • Restraint: sitting out a confusing open is a valid outcome of the work.
  • Honesty about limits: we do not forecast indices or manage your capital.
  • Place: training rooted in Adelaide business hours and ASX session reality, with video cohorts for traders elsewhere in Australia.
