Client Notes

Specific notes from traders who worked gap fills and opening auctions with us — including where the work fell short.

These notes mention real programme names from this site. They are not ratings widgets; they are desk-level observations.

The Gap Analysis Intensive forced me to measure gap width against average true range before I touched the keyboard. I still overtrade on Mondays after public holidays — that habit is mine — but I no longer treat every open void as a signal.

Session Opens Workshop was quieter than I expected. We spent an hour on a single BHP open from last March, walking the order flow notes the instructor had prepared. Useful if you already keep a journal; less so if you want tips alone.

— Priya K., Melbourne · Session Opens Workshop

Private chart review caught three gaps I had marked as “must fill” that were actually breakaway structures after earnings. Forty-five minutes on Zoom with annotated PDFs — direct, a bit blunt, exactly what I needed before reporting season.

— Daniel R., Brisbane · Private Chart Review

Clear teaching on exhaustion gaps. I had hoped for more futures examples; most case studies were cash equities, which still transferred to my SPI work after a week of practice.

Client story: waiting through the open auction

A swing trader from Adelaide arrived with a habit of buying every gap-down open in banking names. Over two coaching sessions we rebuilt her checklist around prior-day volume and the first fifteen-minute high–low. On the next RBA week she sat out two openings that previously would have taken her capital, then took a third where the gap held as support into lunch. She still misses fills — that was never the goal — but her weekly notes now name the gap type before any order is placed.
