Gap Analysis Intensive

Who it is for

Traders who already mark support and resistance but still treat every overnight gap as an urgent signal. You should be comfortable reading candlestick charts and keeping a simple trade journal. We do not teach broker setup or order-entry software.

Result you work toward

By the close of day two you leave with a written gap checklist: type labels, maximum risk as a fraction of gap width, time stops for failed fills, and a review template for the following Monday’s open.

What is included

  • Printed chart packs of ASX equities and selected index futures opens from the prior two years
  • Live annotation of gap taxonomy: common, breakaway, runaway, and exhaustion
  • Session-replay drills for the first thirty minutes after the open
  • A personal gap journal template and instructor feedback on one week of your prior trades
  • Tea, water, and a quiet desk for the Kilburn North cohort (video cohorts receive PDF packs in advance)

What is excluded

Broker recommendations, automated scanners, signal subscriptions, and portfolio management advice. Capital decisions remain yours.

How the two days run

Day one opens with overnight range context and prior-close location, then moves into classifying historical gaps without looking at the subsequent session. Afternoon work pairs fill statistics with risk sizing.

Day two concentrates on session opens: gap-and-go, gap-and-fade, and delayed fills. You draft your own rules, pressure-test them against three replayed opens, and leave with revisions noted in the margin.

Preparation

Bring three months of gap trades (wins and losses) as screenshots or printed charts. Mark the gap high and low before you arrive. For video cohorts, a second screen helps when we share replay files.

Constraints

Cohorts are capped at eight so every chart review gets airtime. Public-holiday weeks on the ASX calendar are avoided where possible. Deposits hold your seat; see the refund policy for timing.
